Behind the face that carries a smile

Is a dark road that goes on mile after mile.

My mind envelope with a blanket of darkness

It taints my soul with unbearable numbness

Saying i'm fine when I'm anything but

This ache in my heart rips at my gut

Hiding the hurt , hiding the pain

Hiding the tears that fall like rain

My skin is on fire, i'm burning from within

That calm face is an ongoing sin

Can't you hear my silent screams?

They are loud , they echo in my dreams.

Would there be someone to see i wear a mask?

And care enough to remove it, is that too much to ask?
